Warm very knowledgeable practitioners teach this course in way that’s easy to assimilate fun to learn and lots of hands on practice.
Each lesson covering ethics compassion and the gentleness of the hypnotherapist when practising. It’s delivered with fun laughter hot drinks, what’s not to like. I’m amazed this course doesn’t cost thousands. It’s worth it.

I am currently studying a transpersonal therapy course at the Iron Mill College in Exeter. This course has changed me in many different ways, so in September I decided I needed help and started looking for things that could Enhance my learning.
One evening I was sat looking up transpersonal therapy and up popped Hypnotherapy… possibly many reasons why, but up popped Somerset School of Hypnotherapy.. I started reading and soon realised that a course in hypnotherapy could enhance my experience on my transpersonal therapy course. …
I made my booking and then called the S.S.O.H to which I was introduced to Lindsey … she listened as to why I was going to embark on the course and said she was excited to meet me. (I’m a counsellor/psychotherapist).
To cut a long story short I can only say that my experience with S.S.O.H was the most amazing experience I’ve had since passing my counselling course. Steve and Lindsey are amazing teachers and made my experience and learning seamless …the other people I met was amazing too. It felt like we had know each other for ages by the end of our week. I really didn’t want it to end.
I would recommend this course over and over.. I learnt so much and I gained a hypnotherapy qualification that will enhance my work as a counsellor and enrich my personal growth too.

The Somerset School of Hypnotherapy was recommended to me by someone who had also trained there, however I live in Australia so I decided to look at options much closer to home.
However, while I was researching training companies locally to myself I just couldn’t find anything that came close to what was on offer with SSOH, so I decided to make the very big journey to the UK and I am SO pleased I did!! The training that was delivered by Steve and Lindsey was absolutely fantastic; plenty of theory and fascinating history of hypnotherapy as well as lots of practical training within the small group, while constantly being supported, so that you leave feeling confident to take on your own clients straight away. The facilities themselves are modern and very comfortable, providing such a relaxed environment in which to train. Despite now being back home in Australia I still feel fully supported via an online group and over the phone.
Thank you so much Steve and Lindsey! I highly recommend anyone thinking about training as a hypnotherapist to do so through the Somerset School of Hypnotherapy!

I trained at The Somerset School of Hypnotherapy in 2016. I didn’t know what to expect when I saw an advert in a Glastonbury magazine but felt called to contact the school to find out more. From the very first interactions with Lindsey over email I knew I had found the right place to train. Lindsey and Steve couldn’t have been more helpful, they helped with advice on where to stay local to the Hypnotherapy School and even helped with transportation.
The course itself was fantastic and I learnt so much in the 5 days. The course was full of information and first hand experience. The group size was small so we got lots of practice with each other and experienced the techniques first hand while putting our new skills to the test. It was probably the most relaxed I’ve ever felt during one of the demos for another lady on the course. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lindsey and Steve and the Hypnotherapy course at Somerset School of Hypnotherapy, I thoroughly enjoyed the training.
The after support was fantastic too with a community of trained Hypnotherapists available on Facebook to share experiences once practicing. I found the course to be great value for money compared to many other Hypnotherapy courses and there was no compromise on the quality of content, it was a really great course.

Training with Lyndsey and Steve gives you a comfortable, knowledgeable, experienced and fun atmosphere in which to listen, learn and practice the Art of Hypnotherapy and how to utilise it’s wonderful effect on clients and indeed yourself.
I have had an involvement with Hypnotherapy for over 30 years and in the past have trained with some of the so called ‘number one’ (self proclaimed) training companies in the UK. Most offer luke warm at best environments to learn, where you get the feeling that if you don’t fit in with their way of doing things, you aren’t in their ‘gang’ if that makes sense.
With Lyndsey and Steve you get very experienced and professional knowledge, all delivered with patience and good humour, amounting to a very comfortable and accessible way to go forward with your Hypnotherapy journey. Don’t be deceived though by the beautiful and serene surroundings. The affable and inclusive vibe is in hand with experienced practitioners who are not only very knowledgable but are acutely aware that to practise Hypnotherapy as a business you need to be commercially aware, which they very much are, having had much successful careers outside of the Training sphere. I whole heartedly recommend you to qualify with TSSoH down there in Somerset and come away with not only a great knowledge base and the tools to go forward but to also return home feeling relaxed, very chilled out with some lovely humorous memories.
